Propelled by the singles "Spoonman", "Black Hole Sun", "Fell On Black Days", "My Wave" and "The Day I Tried To Live", "Superunknown" debuted at No. 1 in the US and went on to sell more than 9 million copies worldwide, including 5 million in the States alone. On June 3, Soundgarden will release a 20th anniversary edition of "Superunknown" in two versions: a 2-CD Deluxe Edition and a 5-CD Super Deluxe Edition. The Seattle rockers filmed an episode of Guitar Center Sessions in Austin, Texas recently during SXSW; the show will appear during the series' upcoming eighth season, which debuts in May.
