Michael Stipe To Induct Nirvana Into Rock Hall

The induction comes 20 years after the passing of Kurt Cobain, who died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound at his Seattle home on April 5, 1994; his body was discovered three days later by an electrician who had arrived to do some work on the property. Cobain's widow, Courtney Love, will be at the event, and said recently that the evening will be awkward based on her long-standing feud with Grohl over the rights to, and use of, the band's music. "We're going to go to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and I think we're all sitting at the same table," said Love, who will say hello to Grohl.
