Devo Launching Bob Casale Tribute Tour
. The tour, titled Hardcore Devo Live!, will celebrate the band's early material from 1974 to 1977, prior to their 1978 debut, Are We Not Men? We Are Devo!. It'll kick off in Baltimore, Maryland and wrap up in Austin, Texas. The line-up for the shows is Jerry Casale, Mark Mothersbaugh, Bob "Bob 1" Mothersbaugh and Josh Freese. VIP ticket admission will let guests meet the band and exclusively view/purchase rare, limited edition photo prints by noted photographers shot during the band's pre-label days. A campaign was created by Devo's assistant and webmaster Michael Pilmer via gofundme.com to help defray expenses related to Bob's passing: he died without a will or life insurance, and there are medical and hospital bills and funeral expenses to be paid. A portion of proceeds from the new Devo tour will go to Bob's family. Devo Hardcore Devo Live! North American dates Gibson.com is an official news provider for antiMusic.com.
