Motorhead: Online Campaign Launched For Rock Hall Induction

. The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame has a long history of snubbing significant and influential rock acts while inducting non-rock and less significant artists. There is a new social media campaign to right at least one of those wrongs and induct Motorhead into the hall.

Motorhead have influenced generations of rock fans by taking rock and roll and cranking it up to 11 and surprisingly the Rock Hall has thus far ignored the band, but there is a new movement online to change that.

We received the following call to arms: "Support Motorhead by hashtagging #InductMotorheadRRHOF and let the world know why YOU think that Motorhead should be inducted into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame!

"Music celebs and bands like Duff McKagan, Anthrax, Danko Jones, Dio (on behalf of his camp), and more have already joined in supporting Motorhead on Twitter, and you should too!"
