Sleigh Bells Reimagine Phoenix's 'Chloroform'
. The remix of the song follows the French band's previous singles "Entertainment" and "Trying To Be Cool," which were reimagined by The Dirty Projectors, Dinosaur Jr., Blood Orange and Grizzly Bear, Hot Natured and most surprisingly R. Kelly. "Chloroform," originally found on Phoenix's latest album Bankrupt!, is the latest track to be offered up as raw stems for anyone with a computer to make their own. Unlike ordinary remixes where the original vocals remain intact, Sleigh Bells inserted layered tracks by singer Alexis Krauss, giving the remix a noisey, pop-rap feel. This punchy new version of "Chloroform" is currently available as a free download from the SoundCloud player here. Radio.com is an official news provider for antiMusic.com.
