Fan Helps Ron Thompson Recover Stolen Guitar
. The 60-year-old California bluesman � named by Mick Fleetwood as his favourite guitarist � was last week reunited with his 1959 Gibson, and instrument he's owned since he was a teenager. Thompson was left without the means to perform when his car was stolen with his stage equipment inside. But local musician Rob Zolezzi, who'd never met Thompson, decided to take action, and, working with nearby pawn shops, he worked out who was in possession of the guitar, met them and recovered it.
