Singled Out: Prozak
. Fading Away: So I was a few songs deep into my new album "We all fall down" when produce Michael "Seven" Summers sent me some new music. I jumped on the iMac and started downloading... I could tell by his excitement that he wanted me to listen right away. Immediately the somber yet beautiful acoustic guitar kicked in.... I was mesmerized straight away. All these visions started through my mind. All these beautiful memories (as well as horrific ones) started playing in my mind much like a music video. I had no plans on writing at that moment however I had no choice. I grabbed a pen and started letting the words flow. Within an hour or two I was spitting the verses into my phone and playing it back... I knew I was going to have to replicate the music video I saw in my mind and make that visual come to life. Tracks like these are my favorite to write because I feel like I'm walking the right path & using my reach for the greater good instead of narcissistic gain. Blood Paved Road: I contacted my produced (Michael Summers) and told him I was ready to do something new. I wanted to bring almost a spoken word track to the album. Something that would dwell in realm of a Johnny Cash fire & brimstone ballet. Acoustic guitar with a gritty bass line and melodic drum kick. The song was to be a straight forward approach to the path that history walked, getting us where we are today... good bad or indifferent. It's very matter fact and to the point. Hearing is believing. Now that you know the story behind the song, listen for yourself and learn more about the album right here!
