Roger Daltrey To Take Part In The Moody Blues Cruise II
. The cruise will be launching from Miami, FL on April 2, 2014 and will sail for five days and nights. The cruise ship, MSC Divina, will be visiting ports including Grand Turk Island, Turks & Caicos and Nassau, Bahamas during the voyage. The band selected the Isle of Wight theme based on their legendary performance at the 1970 festival. The bill also featured The Who and Daltrey will be performing his own material as well as classics from The Who on the cruise. In addition to The Moody Blues and Daltrey, the cruise will also feature 1970 Isle of Wight performance alums Carl Palmer of ELP, Lighthouse and Shawn Phillips. Other big names that will be setting sail on the cruise include The Zombies, The Orchestra starring ELO, Starship and Little River Band. Fans that take the journey will also be able enjoy sets from Strawbs, Joe Williams of Toto, Glass Hammer, Sound of Contact featuring Simon Collins, Jimi Hendrix Tribute featuring Randy Hansen, Eagles Tribute featuring Danny Vaughn and The Prog Rock Orchestra, Heavy Mellow and Mellow Yellow.
