Deep Purple Release Perfect Strangers Live Preview

(hennemusic) Deep Purple have issued a preview of their forthcoming 1984 live DVD, "Perfect Strangers Live", which is due October 14 (October 15 in North America).

The project captures the 1984 long-awaited reunion of the classic Deep Purple Mark II lineup of Ritchie Blackmore, Ian Gillan, Roger Glover, Jon Lord and Ian Paice. It was the first time they had been together since 1973.

The lineup recorded a brand new studio album, "Perfect Strangers", and headed out on tour. The band's show in Melbourne, Australia was professionally filmed and is the only full-length concert recording of Deep Purple at this time. Check out the preview video here.
