Deep Purple Announce New Single and Limited Edition Album

(Classic Rock) After the releases of "All The Time in The World" and "Vincent Price" Deep Purple have announced the third single to be taken from their most recent, Bob-Ezrin-produced album NOW What?!

The song Above And Beyond is dedicated to Purple founding member, the late Jon Lord, and references the iconic keysman with the lyric: "Souls having touched are forever entwined."

In further DP news, a limited edition of NOW What?! will hit the stores on November 8 (Europe) and November 11 (UK). It will comprise the regular studio album plus a bonus second CD titled The NOW What?! Live Tapes. The 70-minute CD was recorded at shows in Italy, Germany and Sweden. more on this story
