T Model Ford Acolytes Carry The Torch
. Malcolm enlisted Stud White for new record Rough Out There, out this month via Shakedown Records. The result follows in the vein of his previous two-man-wrecking-crew outings. Malcolm tells Citybeat: "My music depends on a great drummer. Drums are so important to the music and Stud is one of the best. "I've known him since he was like one year old. He grew up watching me play drums with his granddad. He knows the style I like: raw, four on the floor, no messing around. By us knowing each other so long, he is like my little baby brother. We have this chemistry together that works so well." The aim, he says, is to capture energy rather than accuracy. "We don't have to hit a note exactly right; we just try to create as much fun for the people as we can. We just want to see people party and have fun." more on this story The Blues Magazine is an official news provider for antiMusic.com.
