Kings of Leon Transform Robyn's Dancing On My Own

(Radio.com) Kings of Leon managed to turn Robyn's dancefloor hit "Dancing On My Own" into a heartbreaking ballad with just a few moody guitar licks.

The guys covered the Swedish pop star's hit on BBC Radio One Live Lounge, pumping up the guitars and letting Caleb Followill's sad drawl do the rest of the work.

You haven't understood heartbreak until you hear Followill belt out the line, "So far away, but still so near/ The lights go on the music dies/You don't see me standing here/ I just came to say goodbye."

While the original forces you to dance away your pain, KOL makes it clear there's no shame in shedding a tear or two. Kings Of Leon's new album, Mechanical Bull, is out September 24. Check it out here.
