Eminem Goes 'Berzerk' on Saturday Night Football
. The video teaser found the clip staying true to the old-school vibe of the song, featuring appearances from the song's producer, Rick Rubin, mugging for the camera alongside Eminem (sporting classic Detroit Pistons gear from their late '80s "Bad Boys" championship era) as he rapped the song's lyrics next to a gigantic boombox stereo. Another big reveal during the video teaser was a cameo appearance by Kendrick Lamar, who shows up to rap alongside Eminem. "Berzerk" is the first single from the highly anticipated The Marshall Mathers LP 2 full-length, due for release on Nov. 5, which Eminem himself discussed during a brief, somewhat bizarre halftime interview with the game's announcers, Brent Musburger and Kirk Herbstreit. "It's kind of a revisit to the first Marshall Mathers LP, that's pretty much all I can probably say about," He told Herbstreit when asked about the album, Eminem's first full-length since 2010′s Recovery. According to Billboard, the song will be used on Saturday Night Football throughout the season, during the show's opening sequence as well as at various points throughout the games every week. The Detroit rapper also talked pro football during the interview, stating that he's "such a diehard [Detroit] Lions fan to the core," and predicted that the team would be the Minnesota Vikings in this season's opening weekend. "Just like they have fantasy football or whatever, I put you on my fantasy announcer team," Eminem joked to Brent Musburger, showing off some sports knowledge. "It would be you, of course the late, great Pat Summerall, John Madden and Al MichaelsYou are a legend, my friend." Watch the video here. Radio.com is an official news provider for antiMusic.com.
