Billy Joel's 52nd Street 35th Anniversary In The Studio Special
. The "52nd Street" album had a tough act to follow, Joel's seven million seller "The Stranger" but it lived up to expectations by spawning three top 40 singles, "Big Shot", "Honesty", and "My Life", and earned two Grammy Awards for Album of the Year and Best Male Vocal performance. In the special, Joel reveals to the show's host Redbeard the concepts of his albums. "It would be easier if people would stop thinking about my work as isolated pop songs that are kinda shoved together on a record, but to think of each album as almost like a musical or a movie or a Broadway show."
