Katy Perry Releases Roar Video and Plans 'Big Announcement'

. On the heals of Katy Perry unseating Robin Thicke from the top spot on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart with her new single "Roar," the popstar has released a video for the track.

Following a tease of the new music video, Perry premiered the full clip on Vevo yesterday. Fans can watch the Grady Hall and Mark Kudsi co-directed video here.

Perry camp also send over word that she will be appearing on Good Morning America this morning to reveal the cover art for her new album "Prism" and she will also be making what her camp has labeled a "very big announcement" on the show.

Perry has two big festival appearances lined up before the release of the album on October 22nd. She is set to appear at the iHeart Radio Festival in Las Vegas on September 20th and will cross the pond to appear at the iTunes Festival on September 30th at The Roundhouse in London.
