Smokin' Joe Kubek and Bnois King Face Challenge With New Album

. (The Blues) Smokin' Joe Kubek and Bnois King will release a new album entitled Road Dogs' Life next month. It's the 17th studio outing for Kubek & King, who jammed on stage together one night in 1989 and have never looked back.

But the longevity of their collaboration brings its own difficulties. Guitarist Kubek tells Enterprise News: "That hardest part of writing our own songs after 17 albums is not ripping ourselves off.

"We might have a great idea for a new song, until something sounds a little too familiar and we realise: we did that one a few years back." As the album title might suggest, the duo love live on the road � and Kubek finds it's an antidote to the writing problem. Find out what that is here.
