Childish Gambino Makes Instagram Confessions (Recap)
. After expressing to fans via Twitter that the new music "will be available winter break," Glover has taken to yet another social network his Instagram account to share a series of handwritten notes revealing some disarmingly personal information, and perhaps a peek at what to expect from Because the Internet. "The label doesn't want me to release in December because it's not a holiday record and I'm not a big artist," Glover wrote on Residence Inn by Marriott hotel stationary after confessing a series of personal fears. "I started the record last Christmas. Christmas always made me feel lonely, but it helped me restart the new year. I want people to this album when everything's closed. When everything slows down and quiet. So you can start over." Among the rapper's list of fears include "I'm scared I'll be Tyrese," mentioning the R&B singer and actor known for his roles in the Fast and Furious and Transformers movie franchises. He also writes, "I'm afraid Dan Harmon hates me," a reference to the creator and executive producer of NBC TV show Community. Glover has been a cast member of the show since it launched in 2009, but this year scaled back his commitment to the sitcom for its upcoming fifth season, appearing in only five of the planned thirteen episodes.
