. He then left a cryptic message on his website which simply read, "It has begun." While many speculated that new music was on the way, today comes the announcement of Brooks' Black Friday concert special. Garth Brooks, Live From Las Vegas will air live on CBS November 29 at 9 p.m. ET/PT. The broadcast will be Brooks' final performance of his long-running residency at the Encore Theater at Wynn Las Vegas. The show will feature the country star in a "very intimate setting, playing his guitar as he takes the audience through the musical journey that led him to become the number one selling solo artist in U.S. history," a press release states. Throughout his set, Brooks will share his experiences with the musicians that shaped him as an artist, including Merle Haggard, George Jones, Simon & Garfunkel, James Taylor, Geoge Strait, Otis Redding, Bob Seger and more. "Blame it all on my roots," Brooks said in the release. "This is the soundtrack of my life. Growing up the last of six kids, music was the life blood of our family and as you can imagine, mom, dad, and each kid had his or her own favorite stuff and it all funneled down to me." more on this story Radio.com is an official news provider for antiMusic.com.
