While in Abu Dhabi, Rihanna decided to model in the courtyard of the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque Center. According to CNN, the landmark mosque asked her to leave after she posed "inappropriately" for photos on its grounds.

In the eight photos posted to Rihanna's instagram, she wears a demure all-black outfit that includes a hijab similar to the ones worn by Muslim women, along with a gold chain and red lipstick. Per Muslim custom, only her hands and face are visible.

Many of the photos depict the mosque in the background with Rihanna doing her best model poses. Other photos include captions that some might say are offensive in the context of the spiritual location.
