Prog Legends Yes Finally Nominated For Rock Hall

Once again the public will play a key role in deciding who will inducted into the Hall Of Fame as they vote alongside the artists, historians and music industry insiders of the Rock Hall voting body. From now until December 10, fans can vote on RollingStone.com for the nominees they'd like to see inducted. The top five acts will comprise a "fan's ballot" that will count as one of the more than 600 ballots that determine the class of 2014. Despite Genesis being inducted into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame back in 2010 and Rush being inducted last year, progressive rock has been, in the eyes of many fans, largely overlooked over the years, especially bands like Yes, ELP and Jethro Tull, who were all massively successful in the States throughout the 70s.
