Childish Gambino Announces Album with New Song Release
. Now, the alt-rapper has revealed that fans can expect a new full-length album, Because the Internet, announcing via Twitter that the release will "be available winter break." Because the Internet will be the fifth full-length from Childish Gambino, and the first since his major label debut, 2011′s Camp. Along with the announcement of the new album, Childish Gambino has also unleashed a new song, "Yaphet Kotto (freestyle)." The string-laden track is heavy with references to those critical of the rapper amidst other existential musings (not to mention vocal imitations of Drake, Lil Wayne and Kanye West), although there is no indication how any of it relates to the actor referenced in the song's title (Yaphet Kotto is a character actor best know for his roles in such feature films as Alien and Live and Let Die).
