Britney Spears Talks New Album, Vegas Show and Miley Cyrus
. "I do have the opportunity with this show to bring more guns to the table since I'm in one place I'm not touring and in a different venue every night," Spears told the morning show hosts about her Las Vegas residency, scheduled to run for two years at Planet Hollywood. "I'm able to really do a spectacular show and bring great set pieces and really different things. I just feel like all the shows in Vegas are really elaborate. The water shows in (Cirque du Soleil's) 'O' and all this kinda stuff. I'm going have to really step the bar up." The pop star was mostly tight-lipped on any details regarding her closely guarded new album, which is still without a name, simply telling Fernando and Greg that they'll just "have to see" what she has in store for the studio full-length preceded by the racy single, "Work Bitch." "It's the most personal album that I've done. I have a couple of mid-tempo (songs) on it, so it has a certain vibe to it," she revealed. "It's a vibey album. It's a just really different. It's personal. I have a couple of personal songs that I wrote myself. It's really cool." Spears was diplomatic when asked about Miley Cyrus, who she recently worked with on the song "SMS (Bangerz)," from her latest album, Bangerz, set for release tomorrow (Oct. 8). "It's really funny. She's just really doing her thing. Just living and doing it for real," Spears said about Cyrus. "I just told her to be true to herself and you know, be nice. Just be true to herself basically," she added when asked if she'd given the "Wrecking Ball" singer any advice on handling her current barrage of media scrutiny. more on this story Radio.com is an official news provider for antiMusic.com.
