"Nothing Compares To You is probably my favourite song to play live," says Archie, Santa Cruz's vocalist/guitarist. "It's more laid back and you can almost sit back and enjoy the show, feeling the vibe."

While Santa Cruz have their feet planted firmly in the golden era of devil-may-care 80s rock, they're keen to emphasize their fresh-faced, youthful approach.

"I'm not sure if it's a good or bad thing, seeing some of these older guys from the 80s still playing shows and touring," Archie says in an interview in the latest issue of AOR magazine. "I can see it in their eyes � some of them are tired and only in it for the money.
