Jennifer Nettles Releases 'That Girl' Video
. Nettles premiered the "That Girl" music video yesterday, which was directed by Philip Andelman (Beyonce, Jay-Z, Taylor Swift) and was filmed in New York City. Watch it here. "That Girl" is the title track for Nettles new solo album which will be released early next year and was produced by Rick Rubin and recorded at Shangri-La Studios in Malibu, California. Nettles teamed up with Butch Walker to write the song. Her label Mercury Records says that she didn't intend to "write song from the perspective of Dolly Parton's 'Jolene.' The song about a woman who is bamboozled into getting involved with another woman's man evolved through the writing process and in the end could be called The Ballad of Jolene."
