(Radio.com) Eminem's boundary-smashing 2002 hit, "Lose Yourself," the first single launched from the soundtrack to the Detroit rapper's breakthrough movie, 8 Mile, has been given the isolated vocal treatment with impressive results.

The track, which made Eminem the first rapper to win an Academy Award when it took the prize for Best Original Song in 2003, is among the most passionate and emotional tunes in his catalog, which is made even more evident in this isolated vocal track. Slim Shady's delivery is much more musical than he's often given credit for, marked with dynamic pauses and dramatic intakes of breath between lines.

This unexpected vocal isolation is a treat for Eminem fans, who are anxiously awaiting the impending release of The Marshall Mathers LP 2, scheduled to hit the streets on November 5.

The record is positioned as the follow-up to the rapper's legendary 2000 full-length, The Marshall Mathers LP, which boasted such hits as "The Real Slim Shady" and "Stan." Check it out here.
