Phil Collins Reportedly Ready To Make A Comeback
. In comments widely reported in the German newspaper Bild, and also Hamburger Abendblatt, Collins not only revealed he is considering a return to working as a musician but also mentioned that he would even consider working as a member of Genesis again! Collins was widely reported to have retired from the music business following health problems that prevented him from drumming back in 2011, although he was forced in the wake of much online and media speculation to announce on his own website that he was not retiring, but taking time out to focus on family life. Now it appears that same family have inspired in him the desire to create music again. Back in August of this year, his eldest son Simon, singer and drummer with Prog Award winners Sound Of Conact announced of his dad: "He's great. He's doing really well. He's starting to write again actually and spending more time with family, myself included. I think he's just enjoying taking a much needed, much deserved break from the insanity of going on tour for years on end. As much as that is his deepest passion as it is mine, it's important to sit back sometimes and actually enjoy what you've achieved and spend some time with family. So that is what's happening in our camp." more on this story Prog Magazine is an official news provider for antiMusic.com.
