Black Sabbath's Geezer Butler Tribute Concert Video Goes Online

. (hennemusic) Black Sabbath bassist Geezer Butler was honored with a Lifetime Achievement Award and tribute concert at the Bass Player Live! Concert & Awards Show on November 9 in Los Angeles, and video of his performance at the event is available.

Butler closed out the evening with two Sabbath classics: on "Fairies Wear Boots" he was joined by Corey Taylor (Slipknot, Stone Sour) on vocals, Zakk Wylde on guitar and Anthrax's Charlie Benante on drums; the finale of "N.I.B." featured the same lineup (minus Taylor) with Wylde handling lead vocals.

Prior to Butler's appearance, the all-star concert at the historic Fonda Theatre featured a variety of rockers performing Black Sabbath tracks, including appearances by Sebastian Bach, Chris Broderick and David Ellefson of Megadeth, Jason Newsted, Rudy Sarzo (Quiet Riot, Ozzy Osbourne, Dio), Doug Pinnick of King's X, Frank Bello of Anthrax and others.
