All-Star Randy Rhoads Tribute Event Announced

. (Gibson) "Randy Rhoads Remembered - A Celebration of a Legend," has been announced and the tribute event to late iconic Ozzy Osbourne guitarist will be taking place on Saturday January 25 at The Observatory in Santa Ana, California.

Every participating guitarists will choose their favorite Rhoads song and play through a replica of Randy's guitar rig, joining the house band of Tichy (whose credits include Ozzy Osbourne, Whitesnake, Foreigner, Billy Idol and Zakk Wylde's Pride & Glory) and Sarzo (Quiet Riot, Ozzy Osbourne, Whitesnake, Geoff Tate's Queensryche).

The list of guest musicians hasn't yet been announced but if it's anything like the Bonzo Bash it'll be a night to remember. And they're doing it again! The Bonzo Bash NAMM Jamm 2014 will be held on January 23, and will feature dozens of legendary drummers including Carmine Appice, Kenny Aronoff, Frankie Banali, Charlie Benante, Will Calhoun, Ray Luzier, Stephen Perkins, Mike Portnoy, Bobby Rondinelli, Rikki Rockett, Joe Travers and Simon Wright. more on this story
