Megadeth Rock George Jones Tribute Concert

(hennemusic) Megadeth performed at a tribute concert honoring country music legend George Jones in Nashville Friday night, and video from the event has surfaced.

Joined by Jamey Johnson, the band played Jones' song "Wild Irish Rose." "I am honoring George's belief in the veterans," said Dave Mustaine, "which is the best way I know to show respect to his legacy, and to his wife and family".

Megadeth was part of an extensive and primarily country music lineup for the event, dubbed "Playin' Possum! The Final NO Show." The concert featured Kid Rock, Charlie Daniels, Brad Paisley, Blake Shelton, Reba McEntire, and many, many others. Check out the video here.
