Solange Named Puma's New Artistic Director

. (Radio.com) Solange is bringing her style expertise to PUMA as the brand's new artistic director and creative consultant. The "Losing You" singer shared the big news on her blog on Wednesday (Nov. 20), informing fans that her new gig allows her to express her love of design.

"I've had so much fun producing special content, ad campaigns, events, and working alongside the awesome Puma team with some of my favorite emerging artists, photographers, graphic designers to create activations that really celebrates both mine and PUMA's approach and philosophies," she wrote.

Solange's first project as artistic director will be to re-design the classic PUMA Disc with help from four different designers of her choosing: Gerlan, William Okpo, Hisham Baroocha. The line, out in February, will be called "Girls of Blaze," inspired by the sights and sounds of Brazil. more on this story
