Colbie Caillat Makes Surprising Style Change With New Song 'Hold On'
. There's no acoustic guitar to be heard, just a pounding drum beat and layers and layers of Caillat's voice, acting as both the devil and the angel on her shoulder as she figures out what to do about her new crush. "I like that when I sing it, I feel rad 'rad' is my word right now," she told USA Today about the new track. "The production that Ryan used, the second the music comes on, I get in the moment. It makes me come alive, and it makes me want to perform." In an interview with MIX 105.1 in Orlando (a Radio.com station), Caillat gave away very few details about her upcoming untitled release, which is slated to come out in spring 2014, explaining, "It keeps changing, so now I've learned to shut my mouth." But Caillat did reveal that the album, her first since releasing her holiday album, Christmas in the Sand last year, will feature at least one song from Kenneth "Babyface" Edmonds. Find out about that and listen to the song here. Radio.com is an official news provider for antiMusic.com.
