Joe Satriani To Perform National Anthem At Oakland Raiders Game

. (hennemusic) Guitarist Joe Satriani will perform the US national anthem at Oakland Stadium on Sunday, November 24 before the Oakland Raiders host the Tennessee Titans in NFL football action.

In July, Joe played the anthem at the Red Bull U.S. Grand Prix in Laguna Beach, California (watch it here); in April of 2011, Satriani and Chickenfoot bandmate Sammy Hagar did the anthem at AT&T Park in San Francisco prior to a San Francisco Giants home game (see it here)

Last month, Satriani wrapped up a North American tour in support of his latest album, "Unstoppable Momentum." Joining Satriani on the road were veteran bandmate Mike Keneally (Frank Zappa, Steve Vai) on keyboards, along with a new rhythm-section featuring bassist Bryan Beller (Dethklok, Dweezil Zappa) and drummer Marco Minnemann (Adrian Belew, Steve Wilson). more on this story
