Turunen was fired in 2005 and replaced by Anette Olzon, who in turn was dismissed last year. The Finnish band recently confirmed that Jansen, originally hired as a stand-in, was now their permanent frontwoman.

She tells RadioRock: "I don't go behind backs and say, 'How was it for you? What happened?' I don't do that.

"Times have been different. People grow, people change. I'd rather see what happens around me and be in the here-and-now with the people I work with."
