M83's New Song 'Ali and Matthias' Streaming Online

. (Radio.com) On his new song, "Ali and Matthias," M83′s Anthony Gonzalez pays tribute to French films of the '70s. The song is featured on the soundtrack to his brother Yann Gonzalez's new film, You and the Night, out Nov. 13 in France, which follows a young couple as they throw their first orgy.

With a rather haunting lute melody, the new age track seems like it sets the mood for something to go terribly wrong. Gonzalez says this soundtrack is much more intimate than his 2011 album, Hurry Up, We're Dreaming and his score to the 2013 film, Oblivion, starring Tom Cruise. "This score is really for lovers and ghosts," he wrote on his Soundcloud page.

The soundtrack will be available digitally Nov. 19, with a physical release scheduled to drop in 2014. M83 also recently produced The Killers song, "Shot At The Night," off the band's greatest hits collection, Direct Hits. Listen to the new song here.
