Iced Earth Announce New Album and Tour

. Iced Earth have announced the release of their new studio album 'Plagues of Babylon' which they will be releasing on January 21, 2014 and they will support it with a North American tour.

The North American "Worldwide Plagues Tour" will be kicking off on April 4th in Grand Rapids, MI and is scheduled to last for six weeks and will feature support from Sabaton and Revamp

"This is a seriously heavy album with a seriously brutal album cover," says Jon Schaffer of 'Plagues Of Babylon'. "I'm sure it will go down as a classic in the epic Iced Earth catalog. We feel that the package with Sabaton and Revamp is very strong and we are very excited to tour the U.S. and Canada again and kick some major ass!"
