They were inspired to explore the acoustic approach further after penning a one-off composition for The Dark Outside, an event held in Galloway Forest Dark Sky Park by guerrilla music promoter Stuart McLean earlier this year. Frontman Hal Sinden says: "The mini-album's lyrics weigh heavily on ghostly themes, referring to a collection of British tales such as that of the White Lady of West Wycombe and Jinney Bingham, aka Mother Red Cap.
