John Lees' Barclay James Harvest Kicking Off Tour

. (Prog) John Lees' Barclay James Harvest are aiming to repay fans for their patience on their UK tour, which kicks off today (November 7). And mainman Lees says it will be a relief to finally deliver material from latest album North, their first all-new studio album in 14 years.

The band will play nine shows with guests Gordon Giltrap and Oliver Wakeman, although they're replaced at the Edinburgh date by Anne-Marie Helder of Panic Room and Mostly Autumn.

Lees tells Prog: "It feels good to have cleared the air and moved forward, with a new set of songs and the completion of North. The writing and recording was a challenge, but on reflection it's been well worth the effort and, personally, hugely rewarding." more on this story
