Chris Cornell Expands Solo Tour

. (Gibson) Chris Cornell he recently resurrected his "Songbook" tour with a string of North American dates. Now, the singer and guitarist has added a handful of new dates to the tour, all happening in December.

The new dates are in Charlotte, N.C. on December 2; Miami on December 5; and St. Petersburg, Fla., on December 6. Tickets for all of the new shows are on sale now.

In other news, Soundgarden have just been confirmed as one of the headliners for Lollapalooza Chile and Argentina, alongside Red Hot Chili Peppers and Arcade Fire. The Santiago, Chile, edition will take place March 29-30 at O'Higgins Park in Santiago, Chile, while the Buenos Aires, Argentina, event will happen April 1-2 at the Hip�dromo San Isidro Racetrack. Lollapalooza's longstanding Chicago show is set for Aug. 1-3, 2014, in downtown Chicago, and that lineup will drop this spring. more on this story
