Mike Livesley Plans One Night Stanshall
. Actor, comedian and prog musician Livesley played the title role in a gala event at London's Bloomsbury Theatre in March, which saw an impromptu reunion of several members of the Bonzo Dog Doo-Dah Band. Rick Wakeman, Danny Thompson and John Otway also took part. Stanshall who would have been 70 on the night, but died in 1995 was represented by his son Rupert, who called the event "an ensemble of madmen at their best smashing!" Neil Innes, Wakeman and Thomson will return to the Bloomsbury, with John Halsey, Jim Cuomo, Susie Honeyman, John Megginson and others, on April 8, 2014. Livesley recently told Prog: "Vivian is probably the greatest creative mind of the latter half of the 20th century. His legacy is absolutely incredible." more on this story Prog Magazine is an official news provider for antiMusic.com.
