Sammy Hagar Day Celebration Video Posted Online
. The Merrimack Valley Food Bank received a gift of $5,000 from the Hagar Family Foundation as part of the Four Decades of Rock tour, which played the Tsongas Center in Lowell last week. Sammy is donating to local food banks in each U.S. city he visits. As a child, Sammy knew what it was to feel hunger and is committed to preventing others from experiencing it by donating to food relief agencies like the Merrimack Valley Food Bank that has provided food for 60,000 individuals monthly through a network of food pantries in 32 communities in the region since 1991.
