. The PeerIndex list revealed that the five members of 1DLiam Payne, Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson and Zayn Maliktook the top five positions, in that order, followed by fellow musician Ed Sheeran and Prime Minister David Cameron following in seventh place. "However, social media's democratising effects still allow those with challenging, well-defined or interesting views to build influence." Azhar cited independent media stars, like Marius Listhrop, a dancer and friend of Payne's, and radio personality, Dan Howell, along with authors like Owen Jones and Caitlin Moran as people who fit in that category.
