Deep Purple Gold CD Box Set To Feature Classic Albums

(hennemusic) Four classic Deep Purple albums are getting the box set treatment with the November 13th release of "The Audio Fidelity Collection 1970-1973." The first box set from Audio Fidelity features 24 Karat Gold CDs of "In Rock" (1970), "Machine Head" (1971), "Fireball" (1972) and "Who Do We Think We Are" (1973).

The package includes the original booklets containing original album art work, historical photos and original 12" album labels, and will feature the remastering done by engineer Steve Hoffman when the individual CDs were previously issued by Audio Fidelity.

"They have been unavailable for five years," says Audio Fidelity president Marshall Blonstein, "and since then we've had numerous requests from customers to 'reissue the reissue.' So we decided to offer them again, but in this special boxed-set edition." more on this story
