Killswitch Engage Replace As I Lay Dying On Upcoming Tour
. Instead of As I Lay Dying, the trek is now set to include two replacement bands: Darkest Hour and The Word. They will join the lineup that also includes Miss May I and Alive and Affiance. As I Lay Dying had this to say, "In light of recent events, As I Lay Dying will unfortunately not be taking part in the upcoming tour with Killswitch Engage. "Given the circumstances, we feel that it is best for the band to be off the road while the current situation gets sorted. We'd like to thank all of our fans for their ongoing support at this difficult time." Killswitch Engage will be launching the tour in support of their new album, "Disarm The Descent," which is their first album with original lead singer Jesse Leach since 2002's "Alive or Just Breathing." The tour will be kicking off on May 30th at the Diamond Ballroom in Oklahoma City and will conclude on July 8th in Joliet, IL at Mojoes. The Word Alive will miss the first three dates of the tour and will join the trek on June 3rd in Orlando, Fl. They will also miss the June 15th date in Guelph, Ont.
