Florida Georgia Line Excited About Nelly Collaboration
. On top of all that, they recently collaborated on a remixed version of "Cruise" with rapper Nelly, which is becoming something of a sensation itself. As Taylor explained during a recent interview with Minneapolis station BUZ'N 102.9, to have an artist of Nelly's stature reach out to them was "a huge honor." "We couldn't be more excited," Taylor said. "We grew up being fans of Nelly, riding around listening to him in middle school and high school." And, he continued, Nelly is excited about the project, too, which is "really gratifying. And it makes it official. When Nelly's excited about something that you're doing, it's cool, man, it's an honor." The duo recently also released a music video of "Cruise" with Nelly, which Taylor said was shot "out in California, in the middle of the desert a really fun time." More including the remix.
