PSY Says He Is Not A One Hit Wonder
. During a recent interview with New York radio station 92.3 NOW, PSY explained the transition and why he shouldn't be called a one-hit wonder. "After 'Gangnam Style,' I hesitated to answer the question 'What's next?'" he explained. "Literally, right after that short period of hesitation they started calling me one-hit wonder all over the world. I was like, 'What do you mean one-hit wonder?' I've already been in this industry in my country for 12 years." Indeed, the South Korean singer's first album was released 12 years ago, in 2001. He's earned more and more notoriety in the Asian music market with each subsequent release. "When I do some jobs for 12 years and then you're called one-hit wonder, that feels really great," he continued, sarcastically berating his fifteen minutes of fame label. more on this story Radio.com is an official news provider for antiMusic.com.
