Daft Punk Streaming New Album Online
. While many major music releases are streamed ahead of the official release date, Daft Punk's sudden launch of Random Access Memories came almost concurrently with an online leak of the record that rapidly spread across the Internet today. With the album's release date only a week away, Daft Punk spoke to BBC Radio 1 DJ Zane Lowe on his popular radio show today (May 13) to discuss what it took to bring the concept for Random Access Memories into reality. "It was more a relief, I think," Daft Punk member Thomas Bangalter said about completing the record. "We worked over a period of five years, with probably three years nonstop on it, which is way beyond human sanity. We worked on this record way too long, but that's what it took to grab the magicmaybe that's the difference between being a wizard and just a magician. It takes time to capture those little moments of magic and to reorganize them and put them together." more on this story Radio.com is an official news provider for antiMusic.com.
