Deftones Release 'Swerve City' Video
. As with the previously released lyric video, the Gus Black-directed clip has kept the western theme. A woman is seen riding through the desert on horseback, as the sun goes down. A car races by on a nearby highway with frontman Chino Moreno at the wheel. Beating the singer to a desert house, she greets him with an unexpected gift. Speaking to KROQ/ Los Angeles about Koi No Yokan, Moreno explained that after Chi Cheng's 2008 accident left him in a coma that ultimately led to his death in April, the band decided to scrap Eros, the album in progress. "We started with a whole new record," said Moreno. "And at that point, we never really looked backwards, we only started looking forward." Watch the video and read more here.
