. (Classic Rock) Scott Weiland says it's impossible for Stone Temple Pilots to use the name unless he's in the band.

He still disputes he's been fired, despite an announcement to that effect earlier this year.

Weiland states: "I started the band. I'm not going to go into it legally, but there's things in place � certain clauses that keep that from happening." More rock news.
