Lady Antebellum Take Some Chances With Golden
. It's the fourth studio album from the trio (Hillary Scott, Charles Kelley and Dave Haywood), and it's already spawned one major hit, the chart-topping single "Downtown." According to Charles Kelley, "Downtown" was one of several songs on Golden that was inspired by their live performances. "There were spots in the set where [we thought], 'Man, I really wish Hillary had an 'I am woman hear me roar song,'" Kelley told Radio.com. Golden presented an opportunity for the band to push themselves in new ways. "We wanted to make sure that we didn't keep regurgitating the same music," Kelley said. "We wanted to take some chancesand make more of an upbeat record this go-round." more on this story Radio.com is an official news provider for antiMusic.com.
