. Reese is talking to the additional officer who seems to be trying to diffuse the situation, telling Reese the issue is that she got out of the car. Reese claiming she was only trying to ask the arresting officer questions and was not being allowed to and had to use the restroom because she is pregnant and was not allowed to do that either. Reese explained to the second officer, "I said I am pregnant, early pregnant, it's an early pregnancy." She went on to say she said, to the officer, "Sir, I am allowed to ask you if you're a real police officer." Claiming that her security guard told her she can ask police for photo identification. The officer tells Reese to go and sit in his squad car then you can hear Reese say she is willing to travel to the police station in the wagon, the officer saying he doesn't want to do that to her since she's pregnant so he is going to transport her. The officer even saying, "I will take better care of you." Witherspoon told "Good Morning America" that she and husband Jim Toth were in the wrong when they were arrested, but she explained, "I saw him arresting my husband [for DUI] and I literally panicked," she said. "I told him I was pregnant. I'm not pregnant. I said all kinds of crazy things."
